The Women's Auxiliary came into being in the formative years of the Miranda RSL Sub-Branch. The Auxiliary was formed and held an inaugural meeting in February 1936.

History shows that the Auxiliary worked tirelessly in the early years to raise funds for a building fund which eventually led to the purchase of Sub -Branch property. Their hard work has continued over the years supporting the Sub- Branch, Youth Club and many local charities.

These days the Auxiliary raises money through regular meetings, outings and "bring and buy days". Money raised is divided between RSL and local Charities.

The Auxiliary provides assistance to the sub- Branch throughout the year by:

Providing hot breakfasts on ANZAC Day morning, wrapping of books for placement on the Central Road Cenotaph on ANZAC Day and assistance to the Sub-Branch as required.

Auxiliary members also enjoy organised trips from time to time providing enjoyment and social interaction for members.

Meetings are held at the Miranda RSL Club on the fourth Tuesday each month.
