Our Objects and activities are in accordance with the RSL Constitution . Our key activities fall under the following State Branch Objectives. (The NSW Branch of the RSL has many more objectives than those shown here).

  • To provide Welfare and Pension Advocacy services to serving and ex-service persons and their dependants.
  • To support the provision of commemoration and remembrance of those who have served our Country.
  • To encourage fellowship and mateship for members of the League.
  • To support the education of Australia 's youth in the achievements of our Armed Forces.
  • To co-operate with other ex-service organisations.

Our specific objectives are listed in the Sub-Branch By-Laws booklet which is given to all new members upon joining.

  • To provide for the sick and needy among our members and their dependants.
  • To assist and / or affiliate with any other body having like aims, on such terms as the League may determine.
  • To establish and assist financially, if required, Women's Auxilliary, Youth Clubs, Day Care Clubs and other like groups.
  • To develop and finance a Welfare fund.
  • To invest and deal with any monies or assets of the Sub-Branch subject to the approval of the State Executive Council / Executive.
  • To invest and deal in Real Estate and to hold property.
  • To borrow or raise money as the members see fit.
  • To engage in any lawful business.

 

 

 

Copy of the Charter which was orginally issued on the 24th October 1935.
The original Charter was destroyed and replaced in October 1969.
